This Department puts great emphasis on the integration of theory and empirical experience so that graduates of our institution are proficient in the use of appropriate methods to enforce the law as well as protect the rights of the public. We have established a student body law service agency to educate and serve our local society.
The educational objectives are as follows:
(1) To emphasize basic training in jurisprudence and legal research.
(2) To nurture legal specialists for the police force.
(3) To assist the police force in reviewing current and relevant laws and regulations to provide advice relating to their amendment.
(4) To assist the police force in resolving various legal issues and provide legal advice from time to time.
(5) To identify future trends for police administration and assist in the establishment of various legal systems.
(6) To train students to think independently and help the general public to solve legal problems.
