The Department is established to fulfill the following missions: 1.To upgrade the legal education of the police cadres in response to future developments of police administration so as to be consistent with the requirements of a modern society, 2.To protect the rights of the people, 3.To duly enforce the law. Therefore, our goals of education include:
☉To emphasize basic training in jurisprudence and legal research
☉To cultivate legal specialists for police force
☉To assist the police force in reviewing the current laws and regulations regarding the police force and to provide advice relating to their amendment
☉To assist the police force in resolving various legal issues and to provide legal advice from time to time
☉To identify future trend for police administration and to assist in the establishment of various legal systems
☉To train students to think independently and help others to settle problem about legal affairs
